Colorado State University takes on University of Colorado this Saturday March 3rd at 4 PM at Infinity Stadium to kick off their conference season. The game will be broadcast on Root Sports TV starting May 9th. The B-side gets things started at 1:30 PM on the Infinity Park turf field.

CSU over UNC in Preseason Match A Win 37-36 B Win 52-0 - Monday, February 27, 2012

 

The Rams traveled to Greeley to take on the University of Northern Colorado Saturday Feb, 25th. 
 
CSU came out on top of a back and forth affair 37-36.   UNC started the match hot scoring the first 3 tries. The Rams regrouped a bit to get a score in before half to make it 7-17 at intermission. In the second half the scoring went back and forth with the rams making a comeback and coming out on top 37-36. It was a good 1st match of the season.
 
The B-side played very well winning 52-0. The match was played with good structure and many young players showed their skills. Competition for A-side spots will be intense.

This season presents itself as a great opportunity for CSU RamRugby to assert itself as they go up against some of the powerhouse teams of US collegiate rugby this season.

This seasons rivals include BYU, Utah, Arizona State, and many more. Other highlights of the season include four home games at CSU, and one game against CU in the Infinity Park Stadium in Denver!
